Meet Our Instructors
Daniel Boyd
Daniel Boyd began training Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in June of 2012. He earned the rank of black belt on January 27, 2024 from John Hosford, a 4th degree black belt under Pedro Sauer, and Mark Cukro, a 3rd degree black belt under Pedro Sauer. Daniel is a certified adult and youth instructor in the Pedro Sauer Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Association. He has been teaching jiu-jitsu for about the last six years. His teaching style is precise and technical just like his jiu-jitsu. Daniel is continually learning and strives to be the best at what he does.
Vickie Flowers Boyd
Vickie Boyd is a mom of three kids and has been an elementary school teacher for 24 years. Vickie has been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since March of 2014. She has been helping with and teaching kids jiu-jitsu classes for the last ten years. Vickie was awarded her brown belt on August 22, 2026 by Daniel Boyd and Jeff Curran, a 5th degree black belt under Pedro Sauer. She is a certified youth and adult instructor in the Pedro Sauer Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Association. She takes great pride in her role as a kids’ instructor as well as teaching women’s classes to help empower others around her.
